Floréac is writing a new chapter in its history. Our company has recently returned to being wholly Belgian-owned. Our CEO, Ms An Vander Aa, has acquired the shares and is officially taking the helm. This change represents a return to our roots and a major step forward.
Why this choice?
Floréac has always stood on a solid foundation: a passion for plants, know-how, international expertise and more than 70 years of entrepreneurship. With this decision, we want to be even closer to ourselves and our values. We are resolutely choosing our own path, our identity and our vision for the future.
With this decision, we are taking our future entirely into our own hands. Close to our customers, close to our partners, close to our market.
What will change?
In reality, nothing that works well. Our structure will remain the same, our team will remain the same and our financial basis will remain as solid as before.
What will be strengthened:
- our focus on quality and customer orientation
- our service and the reliability of our deliveries
- our cooperation with suppliers and retailers
- our international ambition
So we will continue to do exactly what makes us successful, but with even more determination.

Our strategy remains unchanged
We believe that plants are the oxygen of a world that wants to flourish. That remains our core business. Our strategy is not changing: we want to be the benchmark for retailers who want to develop their plant category.
Our PLANT values are now even more firmly anchored in our daily work:
- Passion for plants and customers
- Loyalty in long-term relationships
- Authenticity in who we are and what we do
- Realism in our approach ( Dutch = Nuchterheid )
- Future-oriented in everything we do ( Dutch = Toekomsgericht )
These values remain our compass, today more than ever.
Ready for the future
Our sector is evolving rapidly. Competition is becoming increasingly fierce, margins are under pressure and consolidation is continuing. That is precisely why we continue to invest in efficiency, a healthy cost structure and strong partnerships. This is not a defensive strategy, but a growth strategy.
We remain active internationally, but our Belgian head office remains the commercial heart of our company.
Together we continue to grow
Floréac is what it is thanks to its employees and the solid relationships it has built up over the past decades. That is why we want to share this news with you personally.
This step is not a break, but a reinforcement of what has driven Floréac for more than 70 years: trust, cooperation and a healthy dose of entrepreneurial spirit.
